christmas is over… not as bad as i was initially anticipating, but i’m still relieved that it’s over.
to quote my new favorite show, the oc, “christmas makes everything bad, worse.”
i’m watching law and order svu (a present from nick!) i’m on my third episode this morning (shhh. don’t tell john i’m watching it without him) and i have two puppies sleeping in my lap. i feel as close to content as i have in a while.
i only wish john had today off and could be doing absolutely nothing with me.
i’m pretty sure things are going to be better… at least i hope and pray to god they will be.
also. we have spiders at the new house.
ok, i’ve only seen one.
but i swear it was a brown recluse. john says it wasn’t, but he’s never actually seen a brown recluse –
so how would he know that it isn’t one?

i admidt, that spider was really scary but i handled it without screaming like that kid in old navy did lastnight ;)
